Body Wraps Course - £120 Please note: TO USE CLEARPAY - FULL AMOUNT MUST BE SELECTED AT THE CHECKOUT Open to complete beginners, our 1-day Body Wrap training course covers everything you need to know to get qualified and set-up ready to treat clients. A great way to attract new clients and increase revenue whether you are mobile, home based, in a luxury spa or salon. You will find this treatment to be popular with clients that are starting a healthier lifestyle, kickstarting a sluggish system, maybe starting the gym or new eating habits and those who have holidays or special events approaching. Body wraps have become a popular treatment for relaxation as well as treating body concerns, for example inch loss, dry skin, aching muscles and cellulite. They can be combined with other relaxing treatments such as a facial or scalp massage, these are carried out whilst your client is cocooned in their body wrap for the ultimate luxury treatment. Different types of body mask include, clays, creams, setting, warming, cooling, herbal, gels, and rubberised. There are also different ways of applying these body masks, some are applying using a spatula, others are painted on the skin or are applied using your hands. The client’s skin may also be wrapped with cling film, bandages, foil wraps or just a warm blanket depending on the brand and the treatment outcome. Course content includes: Theory – Health and safety, contra-indications, contra-actions, equipment, anatomy and physiology, client consultation, application techniques, aftercare advice, business building skills and troubleshooting tips. Practical – Client preparation and measurements, body brushing, full body exfoliation, application/ removal of body wrap, full body moisturising. Students do not need to bring equipment on the training day as we provide this for you. Students are expected to work on each other to complete the practical part of the training, if you have any concerns regarding being a model please contact us before your training date.
